Strong showing Sunday Kirk caught five of seven targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Impact The third-year receiver came into Sunday with only 76 receiving yards through three games, in part due to a groin strain. However, Kirk was able to more than double that total against a fairly hapless Jets secondary. With Kirk now 100 percent and DeAndre Hopkins drawing plenty of attention, the former could be poised for another big game in Week 6 against a reeling Cowboys defense.

Three-yard touchdown Kirk hauled in three passes on five targets for 19 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the Panthers.
Impact Kirk returned to the field after missing the team's Week 3 contest against Detroit. He managed to find the end zone for a three-yard score late in the third quarter. However, he was out-gained by the likes of Dan Arnold and Chase Edmonds and his performance was salvaged by the score. In three healthy games, Kirk has not surpassed five targets.

Impact After sitting out Week 3 due to a groin issue, Kirk managed to log limited sessions Wednesday through Friday before being tabbed as a "game-time decision" for Sunday. That said, Adam Schefter of ESPN later reported that Kirk was expected to play Week 4, pending a pregame workout. Now that Kirk has been given the all clear for game action, he'll look to be a more consistent option in the Cardinals' passing attack after turning just four touches into 60 yards during the first two outings of the season.

He could see extra targets if he's active and Hopkins isn't, though there still would be some risk with a guy who caught only three passes over the first two games of the season and then missed Week 3. All eyes will be on the Cardinals' inactive list Sunday morning ahead of their 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Impact Kirk dropped from 77 percent snap share and five targets in the season opener to 61 percent snap share and four targets Week 2 against Washington. It isn't clear that was related to the groin injury, but we do now know Kirk will miss at least one game. Andy Isabella and Trent Sherfield are the candidates to see snaps alongside DeAndre Hopkins and Larry Fitzgerald in three-wide formations, with Isabella's 4.31 speed making him a better fit for the downfield role Kirk (20.4 aDOT) has been used in this year.

Impact Kirk sustained the groin injury in the Cardinals' Week 2 win over Washington, and though he wasn't forced to exit the contest and played 61 percent of the offensive snaps, his movement was clearly affected by the issue. The Cardinals will see if the back-to-back maintenance days are enough for Kirk to heal up, but he'll likely need to practice in at least a limited fashion Friday just to garner a questionable designation heading into Sunday's game against the Lions. Impact Kirk has got off to a slow start this season, hauling in a 49-yard catch and otherwise totaling 11 yards on his three other touches through two games. His offensive snap count decreased from 77 percent Week 1 to 61 percent this past Sunday against Washington. Perhaps the groin issue is to blame, but his status nonetheless should be watched closely as the weekend draws closer.

Impact The bulk of Kirk's production occurred on a 49-yard bomb from Kyler Murray in the second quarter that led to a Zane Gonzalez field goal. Otherwise, Kirk has been relatively quiet this season, accounting for 11 yards from scrimmage on three touches. With Murray focusing most of his attention on DeAndre Hopkins (22 targets), his remaining passes have been split relatively evenly between Larry Fitzgerald (12), Kirk (nine), Chase Edmonds (nine), Dan Arnold (six) and Kenyan Drake (four). Impact Following the arrival of DeAndre Hopkins in the offseason, Kirk was bumped down the depth chart, but one could argue that the attention the former brings would open up opportunities for the latter. Instead, Kyler Murray targeted Kirk 16 times, more than tripling Kirk's mark. Kirk also matched the target share of Larry Fitzgerald and Chase Edmonds, while ranking third among Cardinals wide receivers in offensive snaps (63 of 82) behind Hopkins (77) and Fitzgerald (65).
