Tanner Hudson - Not over injury Hudson (knee) did not practice Thursday.
Impact Hudson has been dealing with a knee injury since preparation for Week 2 began. Although he ultimately suited up last Sunday, he never got on the field and was likely only active in case of emergencies. With the Bengals not playing until Monday against the Commanders, he'll have an extra day to recover for the matchup. Although based on Week 2, even if he is active, there's no guarantee he'll get in the game.

Vonn Bell - Picks up injury Bell (back) was limited during practice Thursday.
Impact Bell played all but one defensive snap in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs, so it's not exactly clear when he may have suffered the injury. Taking that into consideration, it's unlikely this will affect his status for Monday's game against the Commanders. However, his practice status Friday and Saturday will be worth monitoring to confirm.

Tee Higgins - Limited in return to practice Higgins (hamstring) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Impact Per Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer, this marks the first time that Higgins has been able to practice since Sept. 5 when he tweaked his hamstring ahead of Week 1 action. While the wideout's return to the field Thursday is an encouraging development, Conway adds that the Bengals plan to make sure Higgins can get through a full week of practice before deciding if he can play Monday night against the Commanders, with coach Zac Taylor noting that the extra day ahead of the contest helps Higgins' case to be able to make his regular-season debut in Week 3.

Impact Gesicki is nursing a calf injury heading into a Monday night matchup against the Commanders, but it's encouraging to see him practicing in at least a limited fashion. The tight end has drawn 13 targets in his two games wearing a Bengals uniform, highlighted by a 7-91-0 performance Week 2 against the Chiefs. It's worth noting though that if Tee Higgins (hamstring), who was also limited in practice Thursday, manages to return Week 3, he could eat into Gesicki's target opportunities.

Tanner Hudson - Not involved in loss Hudson failed to record a single offensive snap in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Despite dealing with a knee injury heading into Week 2, Hudson was active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. The veteran, however, was not involved in the contest while fellow tight ends Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample and Erick All handled tight end duties. Assuming he is ready and available for Week 3, Hudson should continue to see limited action in the Bengals' offense in a matchup with the Commanders.

Impact Sample played 33 of the Bengals' 64 offensive snaps, splitting time with fellow tight ends Mike Gesicki and Erick All. The veteran's minimal production is to be expected with Gesicki operating as the clear top option at tight end while seeing a team-high nine targets in the contest. Going forward, Sample should not be trusted for fantasy purposes. The Bengals will host the Commanders in Week 3.

Impact All was much more involved in Week 2 after failing to earn a single target in Week 1. The rookie tight end played 33 of the Bengals' 64 offensive snaps against the Chiefs, but he was unable to make much of an impact for fantasy purposes. Heading into a Week 3 matchup against the Commanders, All will likely continue to see a minimal role as the Bengals' fourth tight end behind Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample and Tanner Hudson.

Impact Burton's lone catch Sunday was his first of the season. The rookie played just 10 of the Bengals' 64 offensive snaps in the contest, leaving him limited opportunities to establish a more prominent role in the passing game. Burton is buried on Cincinnati's wide receiver depth chart, and with veteran teammate Tee Higgins (hamstring) nearing a return from injury, the first-year wideout will likely continue to see struggle to see consistent playing time. The Bengals host the Commanders in Week 3.

Impact Jones saw a decrease in playing time in Week 2, seeing the field for just two offensive snaps against the Chiefs after playing eight snaps in Week 1. With just 10 offensive snaps through the Bengals' first two contests, the second-year wideout should remain far off the fantasy radar going forward, especially with teammate Tee Higgins (hamstring) nearing a return to the field. The Bengals host the Commanders in Week 3.

Trenton Irwin - Reels in one catch Irwin caught one of his six targets for five yards in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Irwin remained involved in Cincinnati's offense in Week 2 with teammate Tee Higgins (hamstring) sidelined for the second-straight week. Though his six targets were the second-most of any Bengals pass catcher, the veteran wideout was unable to make the most of his opportunities. With Higgins trending in a positive direction, Irwin will likely see his share of targets dwindle as the season progresses. The 28-year-old will be extremely difficult to trust when the Bengals host the Commanders in Week 3.

Cam Taylor-Britt - Picks off Mahomes on Sunday Taylor-Britt tallied two tackles (one solo), two passes defended and one interception in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Taylor-Britt made a spectacular one-handed interception at the end of the third quarter on a pass down the left sideline from Patrick Mahomes that was intended for Xavier Worthy. It was Taylor-Britt's first interception of the season and the fifth of his career. The 2022 second-round pick will look to make life hard for Jayden Daniels and the Commanders' receiving corps in Week 3.

Trey Hendrickson - Logs two sacks vs. Chiefs Hendrickson finished Sunday's 26-25 loss to Kansas City with four solo tackles, including 2.0 sacks.
Impact Hendrickson didn't record a sack in Week 1 against the Patriots, but he more than made up for it in Week 2. Hendrickson's two sacks on Patrick Mahomes went for 14 yards, and the former caused all sorts of problems for Chiefs' offensive line. Hendrickson and the Bengals will head back to Cincinnati to host 2024 No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels and the Commanders in Week 3.

Logan Wilson - Logs 12 tackles vs. Kansas City Wilson recorded 12 tackles (seven solo) in the Bengals' 26-25 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.
Impact Wilson has registered 12 tackles in back-to-back weeks, and he was the Bengals' second-leading tackler Sunday behind Germaine Pratt. Wilson and Pratt each have 24 tackles for the season, which is second-most in the NFL through the first two weeks of the year. Wilson has logged 100-plus tackles in each of the last three seasons, and he'll look to continue producing against the Commanders in Week 3. The 2020 third-round pick was dealing with a knee injury during practice leading up to Week 2, which will be worth monitoring when the Bengals release their injury report Thursday.

Germaine Pratt - Tackling machine vs. Chiefs Pratt registered 16 tackles (seven solo) and recovered a fumble he forced in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Pratt doubled his tackling output from Week 1 on Sunday, and he was joined by teammate Logan Wilson as the only two players to reach double-digit tackles. Pratt recovered a fumble that he forced out of running back Carson Steele in the second quarter, which led to an 48-yard field goal from Evan McPherson six plays later. Pratt's 24 tackles ranks second in the NFL through the first two weeks of the regular season, and the 2019 third-round pick should stay busy against Jayden Daniels and the Commanders in Week 3.
