Trey Hendrickson - Diagnosed with back spasms Coach Zac Taylor said Monday that Hendrickson was diagnosed with back spasms after exiting Sunday's loss to the 49ers, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Hendrickson's injury doesn't sound like a significant concern, as the Bengals are hopeful that he'll be able to practice in a limited capacity early in the week. Across his last four appearances, the 27-year-old has recorded nine tackles (six solo), four sacks and two forced fumbles.

Chidobe Awuzie - Confident he will play Week 15 Awuzie said he re-injured his foot during Sunday's loss to the 49ers, but he is confident he'll be available for Week 15, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Impact Awuzie was dealing with an ankle injury ahead of Week 14, but he was able to suit up and notched six tackles across 58 defensive snaps. Despite the minor setback, the fifth-year pro is expected to play in Week 15, but his status should be monitored closely throughout the week.

Clay Johnston - Placed on COVID list Johnston was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Johnston has mainly contributed on special teams since joining the Bengals on Nov. 9, after he was waived by the Panthers. If he were to miss Sunday against the Broncos, Austin Calitro may see extra opportunity.

Impact The veteran slot receiver had another productive game, though he once again took a back seat to the duo of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Boyd has posted a 17-202-1 line on 22 targets over four games since the Bengals' bye, giving him a reasonably solid fantasy floor heading into a Week 15 tilt against the Broncos.

Ja'Marr Chase - Scores twice against Niners Chase caught five of eight targets for 77 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers.
Impact The rookie was a key figure in forcing the game into OT. With the Bengals in a 20-6 hole to begin the fourth quarter, Chase got to work and hauled in TD strikes of 17 and 32 yards from Joe Burrow. It's the second two-touchdown performance of the season for Chase, who now has an amazing 10 TDs through his first 13 NFL games in addition to reaching the 1,000-yard mark. He'll look to keep rolling in Week 15 against the Broncos.

Tee Higgins - Tops century mark again in OT loss Higgins caught five of seven targets for 114 yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers.
Impact He led the Bengals in receiving yards while tying Ja'Marr Chase in catches, but it was Chase who was on the other end of both of Joe Burrow's TD passes. Higgins has reached triple-digit yardage in three straight games, posting a massive 20-366-2 line on 29 targets over that stretch, but he could have trouble making it four straight in a Week 15 clash with the Broncos.

Joe Mixon - Held in check Sunday Mixon carried the ball 18 times for 58 yards and caught both his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers.
Impact For the first time since Week 3, Mixon failed to get into the end zone as his nine-game TD streak got snapped. He also didn't sniff 100 scrimmage yards for the second consecutive contest, after reaching that mark in three straight. Mixon still reached 1,000 rushing yards for the season, the third time in his career he's accomplished that feat, and he'll look to get back to his scoring ways in Week 15 against the Broncos.

Joe Burrow - Big numbers in tough loss Burrow completed 25 of 34 passes for 348 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the 49ers.
Impact The Bengals' offense was sluggish through three quarters before Burrow caught fire in the fourth, hitting Ja'Marr Chase for a pair of scores to force extra time and then leading Cincy to a field goal on the opening possession of OT. However, San Francisco responded with a game-winning touchdown when they got their turn with the ball. Burrow's dislocated pinkie finger didn't stop him from reaching 300 yards for the second straight game and tossing multiple TDs for the first time since Week 8, but he faces a tough test in Week 15 on the road against the Broncos.
