Impact Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski called Njoku week-to-week after the tight end was forced out of Sunday's 23-20 loss at Baltimore and spotted in a walking boot after the contest. Njoku doesn't look like he'll be a candidate to return to the field until after Cleveland's bye Week 9, and considering his projected 2-to-5-week timetable, a stint on injured reserve also could be in play. Harrison Bryant stands to benefit from increased opportunities as long as Njoku is sidelined.

Impact Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski sent York on prior to the two-minute warning for a 55-yard attempt, but an illegal motion penalty on Michael Dunn pushed it back another five yards. The 60-yarder was blocked, scuttling Cleveland's chances. For what it's worth, replays didn't indicate Dunn moved much, if at all, and a case could be made that the Ravens jumped into the neutral zone, triggering the motion, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Stefanski said he didn't get a good explanation from officials, who huddled for a lengthy period of time before ruling on the infraction, and will seek a better one from the league. York has 16 field-goal attempts in 2022, eighth most in the NFL.

The positive news is that the Browns, with holes and deficiencies in all aspects of the game, may not be in the market to add a veteran wideout, so Bell should continue on as the team's third wideout.

Impact Hunt produced his lowest rushing yardage output of the season but was able to punch in a two-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to prevent his afternoon from being a complete fantasy washout. Hunt now has just 16 rushing yards on nine carries in the last two games after logging double-digit attempts at least 46 rushing yards in each of the first five games of the campaign.

Impact Cooper's stat line -- and very likely the game result, for that matter -- would have been different had his 34-yard touchdown grab with just over two minutes remaining stood. However, Cooper was rightfully called for pushing off Marcus Peters, and Cade York subsequently saw his 61-yard field goal attempt partly blocked. Cooper's yardage total did lead Cleveland on the afternoon, and although his touchdown streak was snapped at two games, he's now eclipsed the 70-yard mark on four occasions in the last six contests. Cooper and the Browns face off with the division-rival Bengals in a Week 8 Monday night battle.
