Manages Browns to victory Watson completed 22 of 34 passes for 186 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 18-13 win over the Jaguars. He added five rushes for 20 yards and a touchdown.
Impact It was still far from a prolific performance, but Watson improved significantly compared to his dismal Week 1 showing. He avoided turnovers and showed the ability to distribute the ball down the field as he had three completions of at least 20 yards -- two of which went to Jerry Jeudy. Watson also accounted for the team's only touchdown with a one-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter. Overall, he was able to execute the offense fairly effectively, though it didn't lead to much fantasy success for himself or his skill-position players.

Impact Ward finished Sunday's game with one tackle and one pass defended. Cameron Mitchell saw extended playing time at corner opposite starter Martin Emerson, and the former finished with three tackles. Ward's practice participation leading up to Week 3 against the Giants will be worth monitoring.
