Scores twice in finale Woods caught five of nine targets for 53 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's preseason finale against Seattle.
Impact Woods, a sixth-round draft pick in 2022, had just two targets during the preseason prior Saturday's robust activity. Whether there's a roster spot for Woods depends on how many wide receivers the Browns intend to keep and how significant David Bell's quadriceps injury is. If Bell is ready for the regular season opener, that would give Cleveland five likely locks. If they keep a sixth, then it would come down to Woods or Jamari Thrash, a 2024 fifth-round draft pick that came on over the last two weeks.

Paces backs in finale Robbins gained a team-high 38 yards on eight carries and caught four of five targets for 25 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Seahawks.
Impact Robbins, a 2024 undrafted free agent, was expected to get a lot of work and led the Browns' backfield with 48 snaps. His longshot path to a roster spot received a boost when Cleveland watched D'Onta Foreman leave the game after injuring his ribs. That adds another injury to the backfield, which includes Nick Chubb (knee, PUP), Nyheim Hines (knee, PUP) and Pierre Strong (ribs). As of Sunday, the three healthy backs on the roster are Robbins, Jerome Ford and Jacob Saylors. It's unlikely the Browns, who entertain postseason goals, would head into the regular season like that.

Four catches in preseason finale Tillman brought in four of five targets for 52 yards in the Browns' 37-33 preseason loss to the Seahawks on Saturday night.
Impact Tillman saw his first target on the first play of the Browns' second possession, with the 2023 third-round pick recording a 23-yard grab from Jameis Winston. Tillman went on to make six- and 19-yard receptions on that drive, putting together a strong finish to the preseason. The Tennessee product generated a modest 21-224 line across 14 regular-season games as a rookie, and he's projected to enter Week 1 operating as Cleveland's No. 4 receiver.

Impact Thrash tied several teammates for the team lead in receptions while setting the pace in receiving yards. The rookie fifth-round pick recorded his touchdown on a 46-yard grab from Dorian Thompson-Robinson early in the second quarter, capping off a solid preseason that saw him make what might be a formidable case for a role on the back end of the wide receiver depth chart. Thrash's status as a rookie draft pick could also certainly help his cause, and does David Bell's quadriceps injury.

Draws start in preseason finale Moore secured his only target for seven yards and rushed once for one yard in the Browns' 37-33 preseason loss to the Seahawks on Saturday night.
Impact The veteran speedster drew the start with Amari Cooper and Jerry Jeudy sitting and was able to get some preseason action before heading into Week 1 as the likely No. 3 receiver behind his two teammates. Moore battled through a quarterback carousel in his 2023 Browns debut campaign to post a career-best 59 receptions and 640 yards, adding two touchdowns, 11 rushing yards and 23 punt-return yards across 17 regular-season contests. Moore could be headed for similar production in 2024, although the play of Deshaun Watson will naturally play a major factor in the fortunes of all of Cleveland's skill players, for better or worse.

Impact Ford played on the Browns' first two possessions before bowing out of the contest, closing out the exhibition slate with just five carries overall across two games. The light usage isn't surprising, considering Ford is in line to open the regular season as Cleveland's top backfield option while Nick Chubb goes through the final stages of his recovery from last season's devastating knee injury. Ford flashed plenty of encouraging play in a lead role last season following Chubb's injury, but in the early portion of the coming campaign, he'll contend with D'Onta Foreman for touches.

Impact After a three-yard carry on the first play of the second quarter, Foreman needed assistance to make his way to the sideline tent and then walked slowly to the locker room, at which point the health concern became clear. The Browns are banged-up at running back at the moment, with all of Nick Chubb (knee, PUP), Pierre Strong (rib) and Nyheim Hines (knee, NFI) not practicing at the moment. Considering it's exhibition season, the team likely will exercise caution with Foreman, instead rolling with Aidan Robbins and Jacob Saylors for the rest of Saturday's game.

Impact Njoku has been dealing with some soreness since mid-August, which has kept him off the practice field in the meantime. With his lack of availability for the exhibition finale confirmed, he'll set his sights on a Week 1 matchup with the Cowboys on Sunday, Sept. 8. Over the last two campaigns with the Browns, Njoku has come on as a receiving threat with a combined 139 catches (on 203 targets) for 1,510 yards and 10 touchdowns in 30 regular-season games.

Impact On Wednesday, coach Kevin Stefanksi said certain Browns starters had a chance to play this weekend, but the team ultimately will keep QB Deshaun Watson, WR Amari Cooper and TE David Njoku (undisclosed) on the sideline along with Jeudy. Impact The kicker will join back rejoin Cleveland just a day after the team traded Cade York to Washington.
