Not likely to return Sunday Coach Andy Reid noted Friday that Edwards-Helaire (knee) had a good week of practice, but "it's probably a stretch" for the running back to be activated from injured reserve prior... Impact The Chiefs must make a decision to do so by 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, or else Edwards-Helaire will remain on IR for at least one more week. Because the team opened his 21-day practice window Wednesday, Reid and company have plenty of time to evaluate Edwards-Helaire as he recovers from a sprained left MCL suffered during a Week 5 loss to the Bills. Kansas City is on bye Week 12, so Edwards-Helaire could be held out until then to ensure he's healthy for the stretch run of the season. In the meantime, Darrel Williams will continue to handle early down reps, while Jerick McKinnon and Derrick Gore are on hand to spell him.
