No touchdowns in defeat Jones completed 24 of 35 passes for 266 yards in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Falcons. He also rushed eight times for 39 yards and a successful two-point conversion. Impact Jones was forced to cope with wideouts Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard both exiting Sunday with hamstring injuries, as well as tailback Saquon Barkley being sidelined for a brief period. Although he recovered his own fumble twice, Jones avoided turning the ball over and completed a high percentage of his passes for the second straight week. He also made a decent impact with his legs, including his two-point conversion to start the fourth quarter. With no touchdowns to show for his effort, though, Jones will strive to have more of an influence in Week 4 versus the Saints, even if his receiving corps could be short-handed.
