JL Skinner - Ruled out for Week 3 Skinner (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Skinner sustained an ankle injury during the Broncos' Week 2 loss to the Steelers. The injury was severe enough to keep him from practicing all week, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 4 against the Jets on Sept. 29. Devon Key will serve as the top rotational safety Sunday behind starters P.J. Locke and Brandon Jones.

Impact Jones apparently suffered an injury to his foot during Denver's loss versus the Steelers in Week 2, but the issue won't force him to miss any playing time. He should start at safety next to P.J. Locke in Week 3.

Jones' practice participation Friday will provide clarity on his status for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. The 2020 third-round pick has accrued 13 tackles (seven solo) through the first two games of the regular season.

Impact Franklin-Myers suffered a concussion during Denver's Week 2 loss to Pittsburgh. The 2018 fourth-round pick opened the week as a DNP on Wednesday, but his increased participation Thursday indicates that he is progressing through the league's protocols. If he's able to participate in full Friday, Franklin-Myers would have a good shot at playing against Tampa Bay on Sunday.

Impact After logging a limited practice Wednesday, Dulcich practiced fully a day later which sets the stage for him to be available Sunday against the Buccaneers. The same applies to Adam Trautman (shoulder), ensuring the Broncos a full TE corps in Week 3. In the team's loss to the Steelers last weekend, Dulcich logged 33 of 61 snaps on offense en route to catching three of his eight targets for 16 yards, and if he and QB Bo Nix can get in better sync in the coming weeks, the 2022 third-rounder could merit fantasy lineup consideration.

Impact Vele failed to practice in any fashion last week before sitting out Denver's 13-6 loss to Pittsburgh. However, after opening Week 3 prep with a limited practice Wednesday and then taking every rep a day later, Vele looks on track to return to action Sunday at Tampa Bay. The rookie seventh-round pick served as Denver's No. 3 receiver in the Week 1 loss to the Seahawks, notching eight receptions for 39 yards on eight targets.

Josh Reynolds - Moves past Achilles issue Reynolds (Achilles) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact For the third week in a row, Reynolds appears on Denver's injury report with a listed Achilles issue, but he has yet to miss a game and is once again on track to play Sunday in Tampa after getting a full practice under his belt. Through his first two games with Denver, Reynolds has produced a 9-138-0 receiving line on 13 targets. His reception and receiving yardage totals are tops among Denver pass catchers, while his target count trails only Courtland Sutton (16).
