Kendall Hinton - Hits pay dirt in loss Hinton secured two of his three targets for 25 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Steelers.
Impact Hinton played on 65 percent of Denver's offensive snaps Sunday, his highest mark of the season. The wideout's two-yard touchdown grab was his first of the 2021 campaign. The uptick in Hinton's snaps is a direct result of the injury issues plaguing the Broncos' receiving corps, headlined by Jerry Jeudy (ankle) and KJ Hamler (knee). With Jeudy scheduled to make his return from an ankle injury in the coming weeks, Hinton likely will see a reduction in his playing time. The 24-year-old will be tough to trust going forward based on his sporadic usage. If Jeudy does not return Week 7, it's possible that Hinton could have similar involvement in the Broncos' aerial attack when the team hosts the Raiders.

Teddy Bridgewater - Quality performance in loss Bridgewater (concussion) completed 24 of 38 pass attempts for 288 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Steelers.
Impact Bridgewater was able to suit up after suffering a concussion last week, and he did not appear to be hampered by the injury based on his performance. The interception was the veteran's first through five games, bringing his TD:INT ratio to 6:1. Bridgewater has a lower ceiling than most starting fantasy options, but he does provide a consistent, safe option most weeks. He could be worth a look in Week 6 against a Raiders defense that doesn't strike fear into many opposing offenses.

Tim Patrick - Finishes second in receiving Patrick caught seven of nine targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Steelers.
Impact Courtland Sutton (ankle) stole the show offensively, but Patrick quietly churned out another solid performance as the Broncos' second starting wideout. The 27-year-old has done a good job filling in for the injured Jerry Jeudy (ankle) through five games, posting 22 receptions, 302 yards and two scores over that span. Patrick will receive another start while Jeudy remains on IR for at least another week.

Javonte Williams - Totals 86 yards in loss Williams rushed eight times for 61 yards and caught all three targets for 25 more yards in Sunday's 27-19 loss to the Steelers.
Impact Williams split touches with Melvin Gordon evenly (11 each), but the former outplayed his veteran counterpart in this contest. Neither back has really outshone the other on a consistent basis through five weeks, so a timeshare should continue as we progress through the year. Both Williams and Gordon may end up eating in Week 6 against the Raiders, who surrender 133.3 rushing yards per game this season.

Melvin Gordon III - Struggles in losing effort Gordon carried the ball nine times for 34 yards and caught both of his targets for nine yards in Sunday's 27-19 loss to Denver.
Impact Gordon continued to split work with rookie Javonte Williams (10 touches for 86 all-purpose yards) nearly evenly, but it was the latter who performed better in this contest. The veteran back has been steady, but unspectacular, through five contests. Gordon almost needs to hit pay dirt in order to maintain standard-league value with the capped amount of touches he receives. On the plus side, a soft matchup against the Raiders 25th-ranked rush defense is on tap Sunday.

Impact Sutton was questionable heading into Sunday's matchup after suffering an ankle injury during Friday's practice. The fantasy managers who kept him in the lineup were undoubtedly pleased with the results. It was Sutton's first score of the season, which is more of a byproduct of Denver's conservative offense, rather than a knock on the wideout himself. Sutton will attempt to repeat the success from this strong outing when the Broncos take on the Raiders in Week 6.
