Penei Sewell - Questionable for Week 18 Sewell (illness/thumb) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, yet he remains questionable to play Week 18 against the Packers.
Impact The rookie was placed on the COVID list Monday, putting Sewell's availability for Sunday's matchup at risk. Although he was activated Saturday, Sewell is iffy to play in the season finale as he works his way through the aftereffects of the virus while also nursing a thumb issue. If he can't go, Matt Nelson appears to be the most likely candidate to start in his place.

Josh Reynolds - Added to injury report Reynolds (thigh) was added to the injury report Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Green Bay, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Impact Reynolds dealt with a thigh injury in December before missing last week's game on the reserve/COVID-19 list. This is likely the same issue cropping up again, though it didn't cost him any games the first time. If Reynolds is out, Kalif Raymond is the favorite for regular snaps alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown, with Trinity Benson and KhaDarel Hodge also in the mix. Reynolds put up a goose egg in his first outing for the Lions, but he's since averaged 3.6 catches for 59.0 yards and 0.4 TDs on 6.0 targets in five games.

Impact Wright was a limited practice participant throughout the week, after missing last week's game on the reserve/COVID-19 list. His return to the lineup would leave fewer snaps for Jared Pinkney and Ross Travis, neither of whom was targeted in last week's loss to Seattle. The 23-year-old Wright did play 75 percent of snaps Week 15 and 73 percent Week 16, but with only three catches for four yards on four targets between the two games. A solid outing Week 18 could help him stick around on the depth chart behind T.J. Hockenson (IR/hand) next year.

Jared Goff - Questionable to face Packers Goff (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, after Lions coach Dan Campbell said Friday he considers the quarterback "probable" to play.
Impact Campbell expects Goff to play, which isn't necessarily the same as saying he'd have the 'probable' designation if it still existed. Regardless it's best to treat the QB as questionable entering the weekend, considering he didn't play last week and remained limited at practice Wednesday through Friday this week. If he does start, Goff will face a Packers defense that may or may not pull key players at some point. If Goff is out, Tim Boyle will make his fourth and final start of the year, with the Lions and Packers kicking off at 1:00 p.m. ET this Sunday.
