Impact Bryant has been on the NFI list all season but will now be on the COVID list until he clears the league protocols. He caught one pass for 44 yards in five games as a rookie last season but won't end up seeing the field in 2021.

Impact The tight end was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after his positive test for the virus forced to miss the Lions' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks. Wright wasn't known to be dealing with an injury prior to landing on the list, but his ability to practice Wednesday in any capacity bodes well for his chances to play Sunday against the Packers.

Impact Goff has missed back-to-back games, first due to a bout with COVID-19 and then with a knee injury. On Wednesday, he called the issue a bone bruise and said his availability for Week 18 will come down to pain management, according to Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site. Goff told Kyle Meinke of MLive.com that his knee is "progressing," but he's also uncertain whether he'll gain clearance to play Sunday against the Packers. Wednesday's limited session is a step in the right direction, and Goff has two more chances to prove his health before the Lions either tab him with a designation or remove it entirely for Week 18. Tim Boyle is poised to start at quarterback again if Goff is unable to direct the offense.
