Headed to Minnesota The Vikings signed Moreau on Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Impact Moreau started in 11 of 16 regular-season games for the Broncos last season, recording 46 tackles (33 solo), seven passes defended and one interception. The 2017 third-round pick out of UCLA brings much-needed depth at corner after Mekhi Blackmon suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury in the first practice of Vikings training camp, while fellow corners Byron Murphy (knee - MCL) and Shaquill Griffin (leg) are also dealing with injuries.

Impact Moreau had a solid 2023 campaign in his first year with the Broncos. The 29-year-old cornerback is now set enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. It's unclear if the Broncos will try to keep Moreau in Denver, as fellow cornerback Ja'Quan McMillian is under contract for 2024 and just finished a strong season in the Broncos' defensive backfield.

Impact Moreau's eight tackle total was a season high for the veteran cornerback. The 29-year-old played 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps for the third straight week and has now recorded 35 total tackles, six passes defended and one interception in 13 appearances this season. Moreau will look to build upon this solid performance when the Broncos host the Patriots in a Week 16 matchup.

Impact Moreau led New York with 10 pass defenses, and he tallied a career-high 66 tackles despite playing nearly 300 fewer defensive snaps than he did with Atlanta last season. The veteran cornerback held steady as the campaign progressed, averaging 5.6 tackles between Weeks 13 and 17 before resting during the Giants' regular-season finale. Moreau began the campaign on New York's practice squad before signing to the active roster in late September and subsequently ascending to a starting role. He'll be a free agent after the season.
