Impact After initially approaching the weekend without an injury designation, Everett was downgraded to questionable Saturday, setting the stage for him to sit this one out. In his absence, Tre' McKitty, Richard Rodgers and Stone Smartt are available to handle the Chargers' tight end duties, with McKitty -- who caught three of his six targets for 21 yards in relief of Everett in Week 10 versus the 49ers -- seemingly poised to see an expanded role again.

Impact Everett failed to make it through the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the 49ers after sustaining a groin injury. The veteran tight practiced all week and was eventually cleared of the injury report, so Saturday's designation should be concerning for fantasy managers. The Chargers also activated undrafted rookie tight end Stone Smartt (undisclosed) off the NFI list, another move that could spell Everett's absence. If Everett is unable to play, Tre' McKitty or Richard Rodgers would likely see the majority of the pass-catching reps.

Impact Everett departed the Chargers' Week 10 loss at San Francisco in the second quarter due to a groin injury, which resulted in limited practices both Wednesday and Thursday. That said, he was able to handle every rep to round out Week 11 prep, clearing him to suit up as L.A.'s top tight end this weekend. Even with Keenan Allen (hamstring) out for most of the season and Mike Williams (ankle) sidelined the last two games, Everett hasn't made much noise on his way to a cumulative 34-364-2 line on 55 targets in nine appearances. There's a chance both Allen and Williams return Sunday, which could leave even fewer looks up for grabs for Everett from quarterback Justin Herbert.

Impact The tight end tied Mike Williams for second on the Chargers in targets, but Everett's production was fairly modest relative to that volume. It's still the fourth time in the last six games he's hauled in at least five passes, and he should remain a key secondary piece in the offense coming out of a Week 8 bye -- especially if the ankle injury Williams suffered in the fourth quarter Sunday proves to be serious.
