Impact The Chargers decimated the Browns on the ground and thus attempted only 34 passes, but it was surprising to see Everett receive so few looks after three consecutive weeks with at least six targets. Fantasy managers might just have to chalk this one up to fluky game script, but with Keenan Allen (hamstring) theoretically expected to return shortly, it's possible the tight end could see fewer opportunities over the coming weeks. A Week 6 primetime matchup against the Broncos could be a good case study on Everett's workload in the immediate future.

Impact Everett made a midweek appearance on the injury report Thursday as limited due to a hamstring issue, but he ended the week with a full session, clearing him for Sunday. He'll be welcoming back fellow tight end Donald Parham (hamstring) to the lineup for the first time this season, so Everett's snap share could take a hit. Still, the Chargers will be without wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) for a fourth consecutive outing, meaning Everett may approach the 6.5 targets that he's averaged per game so far.

Impact Everett got off to a quick start by capping the Chargers' first offensive drive with an 18-yard touchdown catch. That was his longest reception of the day, though he also managed 16 and 14-yard catches to account for the majority of his production. Though he struggled in Week 3, Everett has at least 50 receiving yards in three of his first four games as a Charger.

Impact Everett once again put together a solid day for fantasy managers, stepping in as a key target with Keenan Allen (hamstring) sidelined. Unfortunately, the veteran tight end's night will mostly be remembered for a momentum-changing play in the contest. Everett set up the Chargers on the precipice of a go-ahead touchdown to begin the fourth quarter following receptions of 26 and seven yards. Despite motioning to be subbed off the field, the team opted for a hurry-up offense and targeted Everett for a third time, only for the 28-year-old to make little effort toward the pass, which resulted in a 99-yard interception returned for a touchdown. It's hard to imagine Everett will continue to see this type of volume in future weeks, but it's clear he's a focal point of the offense and should be in low-end TE1 consideration Week 3 against the Jaguars.
