Jaire Alexander - Designated to return The Packers designated Alexander (shoulder) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Impact Alexander will be back at practice Wednesday for the first time since early October, but he'll be limited to individual drills during his first session, according to Silverstein. Head coach Matt LaFleur said Monday that the Packers have some optimistic that Alexander could be reinstated from injured reserve ahead of this weekend's contest against the Bears, but he'll likely need to demonstrate notable progress in his recovery from an AC joint sprain during practice across the next few days in order to gain clearance to play. Green Bay's top cornerback had tallied 13 tackles, three pass breakups and an interception in four games before being shut down with the injury.
