Davante Adams - Dealing with hamstring issue Adams was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Impact Even with the benefit of the Packers' bye week, Adams made an appearance on the first Week 14 injury report. Fortunately for the wide receiver, he was able to fit in some activity, while fellow wideout Randall Cobb (core) didn't. Adams will look to get back to full activity Thursday and/or Friday with the aim of heading into Sunday's divisional matchup with the Bears without a designation.

Impact Cobb's absence from practice following the Packers' bye week isn't a promising sign after he injured his groin in a Week 12 win over the Rams. He caught four passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in the first half of that contest, while his absence in the second half left more snaps available for Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard. Given the Packers' reliance on three or four-receiver sets since top tight end went down with a Robert Tonyan season-ending knee injury, a potential Cobb absence for Sunday's game against Chicago would all but ensure hefty snaps counts for both Valdes-Scantling and Lazard.

Jaire Alexander - Designated to return The Packers designated Alexander (shoulder) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Impact Alexander will be back at practice Wednesday for the first time since early October, but he'll be limited to individual drills during his first session, according to Silverstein. Head coach Matt LaFleur said Monday that the Packers have some optimistic that Alexander could be reinstated from injured reserve ahead of this weekend's contest against the Bears, but he'll likely need to demonstrate notable progress in his recovery from an AC joint sprain during practice across the next few days in order to gain clearance to play. Green Bay's top cornerback had tallied 13 tackles, three pass breakups and an interception in four games before being shut down with the injury.
