Impact Amendola returned to action Sunday after missing four games due to a thigh injury. He fit in behind Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins in terms of snap count and shared third wideout duties with Chris Conley. Amendola's five targets tied for third with Collins, behind David Johnson (seven) and Cooks (six). He and Tremon Smith both were added to the return team Sunday, the first game following the Texans' decision to release Andre Roberts. Amendola has been targeted 11 times over 53 snaps, the best target-to-snap ratio among the wideouts, but his injury history works against him. Plus, he's a 35-year-old (36 on Nov. 2) playing for a 1-6 team that should eventually start evaluating all of its younger players in the pipeline.
