Rex Burkhead - Out for Week 5 The Texans have ruled out Burkhead (hip) for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Impact He'll miss out on a matchup with one of his former teams after the hip injury kept him from practicing all week. Even while suiting up in each of the Texans' first four games, Burkhead has held a minimal role on offense. He's played just 29 snaps, carrying once for minus-1 yard and catching two passes for 11 yards.

Deshaun Watson - Won't play Week 5 The Texans ruled out Watson (coach's decision) for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Watson hasn't practiced since the start of the regular season and is expected to remain inactive throughout the campaign, so long as he remains a member of the Houston roster. The Texans are expected to call up Jeff Driskel from their practice squad to serve as the backup behind starting quarterback Davis Mills this weekend.
