Season appears over Adams (shoulder) is believed to have suffered a labrum tear that will require season-ending surgery, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Impact Adams had been forced out of Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers due to a shoulder injury, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports Wednesday that the star safety suffered a labrum tear along with significant additional damage. Per Kevin Patra of NFL.com, Adams is expected to make a full recovery for 2022, but it is concerning that the 26-year-old has now had back-to-back seasons end early due to shoulder surgeries. Through 12 appearances, Adams notched 87 tackles (56 solo), five pass breakups and two interceptions, but he has also been held without a single sack.
