Impact Chinn missed Carolina's season finale with an ankle injury, but that absence didn't prevent him from finishing as the team's leading tackler. In fact, Chinn has accomplished that feat in both seasons since entering the league as second-round pick in 2020. The Southern Illinois product's versatility makes him a unique asset in coordinator Phil Snow's defense, and the latter recently left open the possibility that Chinn plays linebacker next season, Joseph Person of The Athletic reports. While being deployed there would figure to get Chinn closer to the line of scrimmage more consistently -- potentially boosting his tackling upside -- the 23-year-old has proven plenty effective wherever he's been deployed through his first couple campaigns.
