Impact Mark Ingram's return muddled the backfield rotation Sunday, and Dobbins' production was impacted as a result. He played fewer than 50 percent of the snaps for the first time since Week 6, and his carries dropped to the single digits for the first time since then as well. Dobbins has just one game with more than 50 yards and has not scored a touchdown since the season opener. With Ingram back, Dobbins may be ticketed for frustrating workloads down the stretch.

Impact While Ingram was sidelined during last week's loss to the Steelers, both Dobbins and Edwards enjoyed productive days while splitting the backfield work. Dobbins and Edwards received 16 touches apiece, but the former played 54 snaps and accrued 121 yards from scrimmage, while the latter played 26 and put up 87 yards. Though Edwards should remain heavily involved in the Ravens' ground attack Week 10, Dobbins' ability to contribute both as a ballcarrier and as a pass catcher gives him the greater fantasy upside of the two backs.

Breakout day against Steelers Dobbins registered 113 rushing yards on 15 carries, adding one catch for eight yards during Sunday's 28-24 loss to Pittsburgh.

Impact Dobbins hadn't been handed more than nine carries in a game this season entering Sunday, but with Mark Ingram inactive (ankle), the rookie churned out more than double his previous career high in rushing yardage (48). Both Dobbins and Gus Edwards enjoyed success on the ground against Pittsburgh's stout front seven, splitting the carries 16-15 and racking up a combined 200 yards. Ingram only has two games with more than 35 rushing yards this season, but it's likely the reigning Pro Bowler regains some share of the workload once he's able to get back in the fold. That return may not come next Sunday, however, as Ingram has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain -- an injury that typically requires a multi-week recovery. Week 9 presents a challenging matchup regardless of who is shouldering the RB carries, as Baltimore heads into a showdown with the Colts' third-ranked rush defense.
