Impact Brown played in the Raiders' final preseason game, while Henry Ruggs, Bryan Edwards, Hunter Renfrow, Zay Jones and Willie Snead all were rested. The Raiders gave Brown more than $3 million in guaranteed money on a one-year contract, but it's a sunk cost at this point, and he'd arguably be clogging up a roster spot as a backup receiver who doesn't play special teams. Brown has been running with the backups for most of the summer, with the Raiders seemingly favoring Ruggs, Edwards and Renfrow as the Week 1 trio. They've carried a fullback and used multi-TE formations a good amount under Jon Gruden, with the fourth and fifth receivers often playing just a few snaps per game on offense.
