Impact Howard reached the maximum of two gameday promotions, using those the past two weeks while taking 29 carries for 128 yards and three touchdowns. The Eagles have prioritized their running game since losing lead back Miles Sanders to an ankle sprain, with Howard a surprising beneficiary alongside fellow veteran Boston Scott, who took 22 carries for 100 yards and two TDs in Weeks 8-9. Rookie Kenneth Gainwell, meanwhile, has been limited to 15 carries for 30 yards and a TD, including just two touches and 11 snaps in the Week 9 loss to the Chargers. While Howard isn't likely to see many targets, if any, this Sunday in Denver, he's the new favorite to lead Philadelphia in carries.
