Recovered from shoulder surgery Edelman (shoulder) has been working out with teammates, including quarterbacks Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer, Mass Live's Christopher Smith reports. Impact Edelman seems to have rebounded from minor shoulder surgery in January without any problems, gearing up for his age-34 season. He'll be playing without Tom Brady on the roster for the first time in his career, but there's no shortage of volume potential in an offense that otherwise lacks proven pass-catching threats. Edelman's 153 targets last season were good for fourth in the league, and he was on pace for 166 before knee and shoulder injuries slowed him down over the final three weeks of the year. Given his age, lengthy medical record and shaky QB situation, Edelman will have a tough time replicating his 2019 production even if he continues to see steady volume on a per-game basis.
