Five touchdowns in high-scoring win Herbert completed 26 of 43 attempts for 398 yards and four touchdowns. He also carried the ball four times for 29 yards and an additional score in the 47-42 win over the Browns on... Impact Herbert's extraordinary outing set the record for most 300-yard games through two years in the league (11) as he absolutely eviscerated a stout Browns defense to the tune of 15.3 yards per completion. The young signal caller completed at least one 20-yard pass to five different targets as the offense relentlessly attacked downfield. It certainly helps that the Chargers seem intent on maximizing their possessions as Herbert and company converted all three fourth-down conversions in the second half, including two on a pivotal momentum-changing drive down 14 early in the third quarter. Once again the emerging connection with Mike Williams paid dividends as the duo connected on a 72-yard strike for the longest scoring play this year for the Chargers, but usual suspects Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler also chipped in with their typical workloads. If any team can stymie Herbert and company it figures to be Week 6's opponent, the Ravens, but given the second-year QB's brilliance, he's firmly in the must-start category regardless of the matchup.
