Bound for Kansas City The Chiefs acquired Toney (hamstring) from the Giants on Thursday in exchange for a third-round compensatory pick and a 2023 sixth-round pick, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Impact Getting on the field has been a challenge for Toney since he was selected in the first round of last year's draft, and after playing just 10 of 17 games for the Giants as a rookie, he's suited up just twice in 2022 while tending to injuries to both of his hamstrings. He hasn't practiced in any fashion since Oct. 5, but the Chiefs must have been confident enough in his health and talent to bring him aboard. With Kansas City on bye Week 8, Toney's first chance to make his team debut will come Sunday, Nov. 6 against the Titans, assuming he's moved past the hamstring issue by then. Toney could be integrated into the Chiefs' game plan slowly, but his high-end athleticism may allow him to emerge as a useful fantasy option in a high-powered Patrick Mahomes-led offense by season's end. Toney, who has a 189-yard receiving outing on his career resume, joins a Chiefs wideout group that includes JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman, Skyy Moore and Justin Watson. Only Smith-Schuster and Valdes-Scantling have topped 80 receiving yards in a game this season.

Impact Clark's two-game suspension arises from a pair of weapons charges regarding a June 2021 incident involving possession of a concealed firearm, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. While the Chiefs tend to their Week 8 bye, the 29-year-old will now miss the Week 9 matchup versus the Titans as well as the Week 10 contest against Jacksonville. Impact Unfortunately, Butker's lone miss Sunday came on an attempt that counts for the most for fantasy purposes, but he at least knocked home all six of his extra-point tries to maintain some fantasy value. The Chiefs demonstrated their offensive prowess against one of the better defenses in the NFL, which bodes well for his outlook.

Impact Moore also fumbled a punt, which was recovered by the 49ers, so it wasn't exactly a banner day for the rookie wideout. Moore also logged just 14 offensive snaps (22 percent), so he's likely nothing more than a stash for dynasty and deep leagues at this juncture. Mecole Hardman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster rank ahead of him in the pecking order. Still, Moore could unlock a more prominent role if one of the group misses time, given his versatility to play both in the slot and out wide.

Impact McKinnon averaged 12 yards on his touches to salvage his fantasy day a bit, but he doesn't get the ball in his hands enough to warrant fantasy usage in most leagues, especially with rookie Isiah Pacheco absorbing a more significant workload (eight carries) in a starting role. With that said, McKinnon still led the running back room in offensive snaps (28), outpacing both Pacheco (19) and Clyde Edwards-Helaire (17).

Impact Hardman paced Chiefs wide receivers with a 62-percent share of the offensive snaps, and while he ranked in a tie for fourth on the team in targets, he took advantage of his usage on the ground, hitting paydirt on both of his rushes. According to CBS Sports, he also become the first wide receiver in the Super Bowl era to record two touchdowns on the ground and another receiving. With five total TDs through seven games this season, Hardman is just one score away from matching his career high of six that he set as a rookie back in 2019.

Records season-high 111 yards Valdes-Scantling hauled in three of four passes for 111 yards and no touchdowns during Sunday's 44-23 win at San Francisco.

Impact Valdes-Scantling had his best outing as a Chief in terms of receiving yards, which was powered by two of the three longest plays of the game for the team, a 40-yard grab in the second quarter and a 57-yarder in the final period. The receptions marked his first of the campaign of 40-plus yards, but he also played a season-low 55 percent of the offensive snaps Sunday. He remains hit-or-miss on a weekly basis, but working with quarterback Patrick Mahomes means Valdes-Scantling can hit for big plays at a moment's notice.
