Xavier Worthy - Struggles mightily Monday Worthy failed to bring in either of his targets Monday, losing 10 yards on two rushing attempts in an overtime win over the Buccaneers.
Impact Worthy turned in a true negative fantasy performance after losing 10 yards on his only two touches Monday. The speedy rookie took a backseat to veteran DeAndre Hopkins (2-86-2), and that may be a trend that continues in the second half of the season following Kansas City's big trade in Week 8. Worthy is still a key part of the offense (as evident by his four attempted plays Monday), and should still be considered a flex option ahead of Sunday's tilt against Denver.

Impact We finally got to see Patrick Mahomes (ankle) utilize his new weapon following a full week of practice after last week's headline trade. Hopkins was exactly as advertised, taking over the top wideout role in Kansas City while posting a monstrous fantasy score in the final game of Week 9. The 32-year-old has seven 1,000-yard seasons under his belt, and he would likely cash in an eighth if he started the season with a quarterback like Mahomes dishing him the ball. Assuming the latter is healthy following his injury scare Monday, then Hopkins would remain a strong play against Denver on Sunday.

Travis Kelce - Stays hot with 14 catches Monday Kelce hauled in 14 of 16 targets for 100 yards with one lost fumble in Monday's overtime win over the Buccaneers.
Impact Kelce reached triple digits in receiving yards for the first time this season, and the Chiefs needed every yard after narrowly defeating the Buccaneers. The star tight end has generating a whopping 24 receptions and 190 yards with a touchdown over his previous two contests. The presence of trade acquisition DeAndre Hopkins has clearly benefited Kelce by giving Kansas City another threat to worry about. The latter could be in store for a big second half based on recent developments as the Chiefs prepare to host the Broncos on Sunday.

Kareem Hunt - Scores game-winning TD Hunt carried the ball 27 times for 106 yards and a touchdown while catching his long target for 11 yards in Monday's 30-24 overtime win over the Buccaneers.
Impact Hunt was the hero for Kansas City in a tight affair that came down to overtime between cross-conference opponents. The veteran tailback continues to be used more as a rusher than a receiver based on his previous run with the Chiefs. While that should be considered a negative in terms of fantasy evaluation, Hunt's hefty role as a pure rusher (22.2 rushing attempts per game) has helped offset his change in usage. With five touchdowns and healthy rushing totals over his last five games, Hunt should be considered an upper-tier RB heading into Sunday's tilt against Denver.

Luckily, the durable signal-caller showed his toughness yet again, returning to the game without missing a play in a successful effort to finish off the Buccaneers in overtime.
