Impact Hardman exited the Chiefs' Week 9 win over the Buccaneers with a shoulder injury before later returning. It also now appears that the Georgia product is also dealing with a knee issue, likely sustained Monday night. Hardman's practice participation Thursday and Friday will be the best indication of whether he can suit up for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos.

George Karlaftis - Limited Wednesday Karlaftis (abdomen) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Impact The third-year pro from Purdue played 33 defensive snaps and recorded four total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, in the Chiefs' Week 9 win over the Buccaneers. However, it now appears he picked up an abdomen injury in the process. Karlaftis' participation Thursday and Friday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play through the pain in Week 10's matchup against the Broncos.

Nazeeh Johnson - Opens week with full practice Johnson (concussion) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
Impact Johnson missed Monday's game against the Buccaneers due to a concussion he suffered in Week 8 against the Raiders. His ability to practice in full Wednesday is a sign that the 2022 seventh-round pick is trending towards playing Sunday against the Broncos, but he'll need to clear the league's five-step concussion protocols before being able to return. Across seven regular-season games, Johnson has logged 14 tackles (six solo).

Mike Danna - Logs full practice Wednesday Danna (pectoral) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
Impact Danna missed the Chiefs' last three games due to a pectoral injury, but the 2020 fifth-round pick appears to be over the issue as he was listed as a full practice participant on Wednesday's injury report. Barring any setbacks, Danna should be able to suit up against the Broncos on Sunday. Across four regular-season outings, he's logged 14 tackles (eight solo), including 0.5 sacks.

Kareem Hunt - Limited to begin week again Hunt (quad) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
Impact Hunt was limited in practice last Thursday due to a quadriceps injury but proceeded to upgrade to full participation before rushing for 106 yards and a touchdown in Monday's win over the Buccaneers. His fantasy managers will be hoping for a similar pattern ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos, with little indication at this point that there is any meaningful concern regarding Hunt's Week 10 availability.

Charles Omenihu - Expects return to practice soon Coach Andy Reid said Wednesday that Omenihu (knee) is "getting close" to returning to practice, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Omenihu wasn't listed as a participant on the Chiefs' official practice report Wednesday, so it seems relatively safe to say he won't be suiting up for Sunday's game versus the Broncos. With that said, his coach's comments suggest he might have a chance to come back in Week 11.

JuJu Smith-Schuster - Not practicing Wednesday Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that Smith-Schuster (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Smith-Schuster has missed two games and hasn't practiced in any fashion since being forced out of the Chiefs' Week 7 with over the 49ers on Oct. 20 after aggravating a right hamstring injury. The wideout was a popular waiver-wire pickup after turning in a 7-130-0 receiving line on eight targets in a Week 5 win over the Saints, but his opportunities to build on the big game have been stymied by the injury. Even if Smith-Schuster is able to demonstrate enough progress this week to suit up Sunday against the Broncos, he'll likely find himself as more of a secondary option in the passing game with the Chiefs having since acquired DeAndre Hopkins from the Titans to complement tight end Travis Kelce.

Patrick Mahomes - Set for full practice Wednesday Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that Mahomes (ankle) will be a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Mahomes had a bit of a scare in Monday's 30-24 overtime win over the Buccaneers, as he appeared to roll his left ankle during his second touchdown pass of the game early in the fourth quarter. Though he required assistance off the field, Mahomes was able to return for the Chiefs' next possession and didn't wind up missing any snaps on the night, despite having to play through some pain the rest of the way. With further evaluation after the game apparently turning up nothing concerning, Mahomes doesn't look as though he'll face any limitations heading into the Chiefs' Week 10 game against the Broncos on Sunday.
