Suiting up Week 2 Cole (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Impact A limited participant in practice throughout the week while he continued to manage the knee injury that sidelined him for the season-opening loss to the Panthers, Cole ultimately received the green light to make his Jets debut after checking out fine following a pregame evaluation. The extent of Cole's role in the Week 2 game plan is difficult to forecast, however, even with Jamison Crowder (groin) sitting out a second straight contest. While Corey Davis is locked in as the Jets' No. 1 outside receiver, Cole may have to fend off Braxton Berrios for work out of the slot sans Crowder. Cole also has the ability to play outside, so he could challenge rookie Elijah Moore for reps if the Jets prefer to deploy Berrios as their top slot option.
