NFL Week 8 highlights: Packers, Commanders get walk-off wins; 49ers hold off Cowboys

Week 8 of the NFL season continued on Sunday. Here are the top plays of the day from start to finish.

Will Dissly - Seven targets in Week 8 Dissly (shoulder) caught five of seven targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 26-8 win over the Saints.

Impact Dissly tied J.K. Dobbins for the team lead in targets, and the tight end has racked up 18 targets in the Chargers' last two games. The heavy usage is encouraging, but Dissly has yet to score a touchdown this season. He'll look to stay busy in Week 9 against the Browns.

Will Dissly - Seven targets in Week 8 Dissly (shoulder) caught five of seven targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 26-8 win over the Saints.

Impact Dissly tied J.K. Dobbins for the team lead in targets, and the tight end has racked up 18 targets in the Chargers' last two games. The heavy usage is encouraging, but Dissly has yet to score a touchdown this season. He'll look to stay busy in Week 9 against the Browns.

Joshua Palmer - Continues upward trajectory Palmer caught two of four targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 26-8 win over the Saints.

Impact Palmer didn't see significant volume but made the most of his limited touches with catches of 27 and 45 yards. He has increased his receiving yardage total in all six of his appearances this season, with a jump from 38 yards in Week 6 to 63 in Week 7 preceding Sunday's season-best effort, but Palmer has yet to score a touchdown this season. Palmer will look to snap that touchdown drought in Week 9 against the Browns.

McConkey will look to build on this standout effort when the Chargers travel to Cleveland in Week 9.

He seems to be fully recovered from the ankle injury that bothered him earlier in the season, which bodes well for Herbert's chances of building on his recent uptick in Week 9 against the Browns.

Kristian Fulton - Leaves game with hamstring injury Fulton (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Saints, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Impact Fulton injured his hamstring in the third quarter of Sunday's game. While he's sidelined, Dicaprio Bootle and Elijah Molden are candidates to see more snaps with the first-team defense at corner opposite starter Cam Hart.

Denzel Perryman - Suiting up Sunday Perryman (toe) is active for the Chargers' matchup versus New Orleans on Sunday, Eric Smith of the team's official site reports.

Impact Perryman will be able to play versus the Saints despite having sat out practice twice his week with a toe injury. If he ends up being limited at all by the injury however, Junior Colson could see an uptick in his playing time.
