Detroit Lions sign AJ Parker, Maurice Alexander from practice squad; Quintez Cephus to IR The Detroit Lions signed CB AJ Parker and return man Maurice Alexander off the practice squad and placed WR Quintez Cephus on injured reserve.
Lands on active roster Alexander was elevated to the Lions' active roster Saturday.
Impact Alexander has spent the first few weeks of the regular season on the Lions' practice squad. However, with Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) and DJ Chark (ankle) both ruled out, the Lions' receiving corps is depleted heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Seahawks. Though Alexander will still be buried on the wide receiver depth chart, he could be relied upon as a kick and/or punt returner.
