Incredible fourth QT comes up short Williams registered nine receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown across 17 targets in Sunday's 35-32 overtime loss to the Raiders. Impact It's a bit ironic that Williams tallied his most receiving yards since Week 5 in the team's finale especially considering the big-bodied target appeared to be one of the league's breakout starts through the first month of the campaign only to completely tail off as the season progressed. While the Raiders would ultimately come away with the playoff-securing win, Williams' 12-yard reception on the final play of regulation put the game into extras, and his 47-yard reception during the Chargers' lone overtime possession was paramount in setting up the game-tying field goal. While the 2017 first-round pick slumped considerably following his scintillating start, Williams easily put together his most complete year as a professional, recording season highs in receptions (76), targets (129), receiving yards (1,146) and receptions of 40-plus yards (nine). That should net Williams, an unrestricted free agent this offseason, a pretty payday from someone -- with the Chargers and their sixth-highest-available cap space likely first in line.
