Minimal usage Sanders ran for 64 yards on nine carries against the Giants on Sunday. Impact Boston Scott saw six more carries than Sanders but generated the same amount of yardage and lost a fumble in the one-score game. One could generously assume the Eagles have some basis for yanking the playing time of their running backs back and forth on a week to week basis, but from afar it's pointless to guess how it could work. Scott was a healthy scratch for the Eagles in the first six weeks of the year, but in this game they decided they needed to feed him and keep Sanders to the side one week after Scott produced 16 yards on six carries and Sanders generated 94 yards on 16 carries. Sanders and the Eagles offense have a great matchup against the Jets in Week 13, and whoever they decide to give the ball in that game will likely do well. Whether it's Sanders, Scott, Kenneth Gainwell, Jordan Howard (knee) or some combination of that group is up to the Eagles coaches to decide, and for the rest of us to guess.
