Impact Smith appears to have quickly worked past an ankle injury that kept him limited during practice Wednesday. The 33-year-old safety is Minnesota's third-leading tackler (64) and has paced the team with four interceptions while playing all but one game so far this season. Smith should continue to play every down in the Vikings' secondary against the up-and-down Jets offense Sunday.

Impact Darrisaw was forced out with a concussion during Minnesota's Week 11 loss to the Cowboys and was unable to clear protocols ahead of the Thanksgiving Day versus New England. The 23-year-old then did not participate during the first practice of Week 13 on Wednesday, so it appears he could be set to miss additional time moving forward. With Darrisaw's status up in the air, Blake Brandel should continue to operate as the Vikings' starting left tackle for the foreseeable future.

Akayleb Evans - Trending toward return Evans (concussion) was listed as a full participant on the Vikings' injury report Wednesday.
Impact Evans sustained a concussion in Week 10 and was sidelined for the Vikings' last two games. While it's unclear if he's cleared the league's protocols for head injuries yet, Minnesota coach Kevin O'Connell said that the rookie cornerback should be available to play Sunday against the Jets, according to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Evans primarily played on special teams over the first seven games of the season, but he recorded 13 tackles and one pass defended while playing all but nine of his 86 snaps on defense since Week 9. When healthy, he should once again play a consistent reserve role with fellow cornerbacks Andrew Booth (knee) and Cameron Dantzler (ankle) both on IR.

Dalvin Tomlinson - Full go Wednesday Tomlinson (calf) was listed as a full participant on the Vikings' injury report Wednesday.
Impact Tomlinson suffered a calf injury during Minnesota's Week 8 win over the Cardinals, and he was deemed a limited participant on each of the team's practice reports Week 12. However, the 325-pound defensive lineman was still ruled inactive for the fourth game in a row ahead of Thursday's win over New England. Tomlinson recorded 20 tackles and 1.5 sacks while playing all but 26 of his 310 snaps on defense over the first seven games of the season, and he now appears set to reprise a starting role against the Jets on Sunday.
