Impact Booth had surgery Monday to repair his knee, and initially it was believed there was a chance he could return in January. However, it appears after the procedure was completed it was determined that would not be possible. The second-round rookie selection will now turn his focus to being ready for the 2023 campaign. Kris Boyd will be a candidate to see increased opportunity with Booth sidelined.

Starting with Sunday's game against the Jets, and as long as Booth remains out, Kris Boyd will likely handle an increased defensive role.

Eric Kendricks - Eight stops in victory Kendricks recorded eight tackles (five solo) in Thursday's 33-26 win over the Patriots.
Impact Kendricks finished tied for second on team with eight tackles, matching Harrison Smith's total while falling just one short of Jordan Hicks' team-high nine takedowns. The linebacker rebounded well following a season-low two tackles against Dallas in Week 11 and he will look to keep it up when the Vikings face off with the Jets in Week 13.

Harrison Smith - Eight tackles in shootout victory Smith recorded eight tackles (seven solo) in Thursday's 33-26 victory against the Patriots.
Impact Smith remained very involved Thursday, finishing just one tackle shy of the team lead, though his seven solo takedowns were Minnesota's highest. The safety remains one of the best at his position in the league and is now up to 65 tackles with seven pass deflections, four interceptions and a forced fumble over 10 contests this season.
