Impact Evans has been limited in practice this week after missing the Vikings' Week 7 loss to the Lions. The third-year pro has been pretty much limited to special teams work so far this season, so his potential absence in Week 8 wouldn't impact Minnesota's defense in any way unless further injuries occur.

Aaron Jones - Clear for Thursday's contest Jones (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday and doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game at the Rams, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.
Impact Jones was estimated as limited on Monday's injury report before logging a limited walkthrough Tuesday, so his ability to handle every rep Wednesday indicates the hamstring injury he sustained Week 5 against the Jets in London is behind him. He thus should be poised for his normal workload out of Minnesota's backfield Week 8, which so far has amounted to 17.5 touches per game in six appearances this season.

Blake Cashman - Out for Week 8 Cashman (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday against the Rams.
Impact Cashman already missed the Vikings' Week 7 loss to the Lions and will now miss a second-straight contest due to turf toe. With 10 days until their next game after Thursday, the 28-year-old will have extra time to recover and potentially return in Week 9 against the Colts.

Impact Hockenson will need to be officially activated from the reserve/PUP list in order to be eligible to play Thursday, but it seems the team hasn't yet committed to a decision on the standout tight end's status for Week 8. Given that Hockenson is working his way back from ACL and MCL tears sustained last season, fantasy managers will need to be wary of the real possibility that he's worked in slowly even once cleared to retake the field, though. The Vikings officially opened Hockenson's 21-day practice window Oct. 4, and he's been listed as limited in practice since.

Jonathan Greenard - Logs fifth sack of season vs. Lions Greenard finished Sunday's 31-29 loss to Detroit with four tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble.
Impact Greenard logged his fifth sack of the season Sunday after taking down Jared Goff for a nine-yard loss early in the fourth quarter.
