Impact Stevenson was waived with an injury designation Tuesday and went unclaimed on waivers. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by Minnesota following the 2022 Draft.

Thomas Hennigan - Reverts to IR Hennigan (undisclosed) reverted to Minnesota's injured reserve list Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Impact Hennigan was waived/injured Tuesday and went unclaimed on waivers. He was signed after going undrafted in the 2022 Draft and will have to wait until at least 2023 to make his NFL debut unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Vikings.

His symptoms were reportedly minimal during his time away from the team. The veteran signal-caller is expected to immediately resume handling first-team reps for the Vikings, and he's back on the field in time to get some scrimmage work against the 49ers in the two teams' joint practices this week. Whether Cousins will take the field during the Vikings' second preseason game Sunday versus San Francisco has yet to be determined, but backup quarterbacks Sean Mannion and Kellen Mond should draw the bulk of the reps during the contest in any case.
