Johnny Mundt - Scores first TD of season Mundt caught one of three targets for a two-yard touchdown in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Texans.
Impact The tight end capped a four-touchdown day for quarterback Sam Darnold by hauling in his first TD of the season in the fourth quarter, Mundt has seen exactly three targets in all three games to begin the season, but that modest volume has resulted in only five catches for 29 yards. T.J. Hockenson (knee) likely won't be ready to play until after Minnesota's Week 6 bye, but a breakout for Mundt doesn't appear likely in Week 4 against the Packers.

Jalen Nailor - Scores again in Sunday's win Nailor caught three of four targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Texans.
Impact While he didn't see big volume once again, even with Jordan Addison (ankle) sidelined, Nailor still extended his season-opening TD streak to three games with a four-yard reception from Sam Darnold in the third quarter. Nailor has yet to see more than four targets in a game, so his production so far has been almost entirely dependent on his trips to the end zone, but he'll look to hit pay dirt again in Week 4 against the Packers.

Justin Jefferson - Finds end zone in win Jefferson caught six of eight targets for 81 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Texans.
Impact It looked like the superstar wideout was headed for a huge day when he hauled in a six-yard TD strike from Sam Darnold on the Vikings' first drive, but the quarterback wound up spreading the ball around and finding four different players for his four touchdown passes. Jefferson still has a three-game TD streak to begin the season, and his eight targets Sunday were surprisingly a season high so far. He'll look to keep rolling in Week 4 against the Packers.

Aaron Jones - Big numbers Sunday Jones carried the ball 19 times for 102 yards and caught five of six targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Texans.
Impact The veteran running back brought in his first receiving score of the season, and second total TD, late in the first quarter on an eight-yard toss from Sam Darnold. The rushing yards were also a season high for Jones, who is averaging a whopping 5.4 yards per carry through his first three games as a Viking. He'll look to keep rolling, and put together a revenge game, in Week 4 against the Packers -- the team he starred with for the first seven seasons of his career.

Sam Darnold - Ties career high with four TDs Darnold completed 17 of 28 passes for 181 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Texans.
Impact The 27-year-old quarterback didn't need to air it out too much in the big win, but Darnold was clinical in the red zone, with all four of his TDs coming from inside the 10-yard line. The four touchdowns tied his career high, matching his performance against Washington from Week 11 of the 2019 season when he was still a Jet. Darnold has a stunning 8:2 TD:INT through three games to lead the Vikings to a 3-0 start, giving him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 4 clash with the Packers.
