Impact Slye hit early from 29 and 28 yards respectively. However, with the Patriots leading 20-17 and four minutes to go in the game, he had a 48-yard attempt blocked, keeping the Seahawks within a field goal. One they would get from Jason Meyers with less than a minute to go before New England ultimately lost in overtime. Slye and the Patriots will travel to New York for Week 3 with a game against the Jets on Thursday.

Impact Polk logged 35 of the Patriots' 65 snaps on offense in the team's season-opening win over the Bengals last Sunday, however coach Jerod Mayo indicated that the 2024 second-rounder is poised to see more action in Week 2. Also in the mix for snaps versus Seattle are DeMario Douglas, K.J. Osborn, Tyquan Thornton and Javon Baker, but it appears as though Polk will be more involved this time around after catching his only target for six yards in his NFL regular-season debut.

Impact Dugger appeared on the injury report Thursday and Friday due to an ankle injury and was able to participate in practice only in a limited capacity both days. Dugger's availability is important for a Patriots secondary going up against Seattle's talented receiver trio of DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Week 2.
