Impact Per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, Gibson -- who headed into the weekend listed as questionable with a hip issue -- logged 14 of a possible 65 snaps on offense in the contest, while top back Rhamondre Stevenson was out there for 51 snaps en route to carrying 25 times for 120 yards and a TD, adding three catches on three targets for six yards. Though Gibson wasn't targeted by QB Jacoby Brissett in Week 1, we'd expect him to see some involvement as a pass-catcher in the coming weeks, however his fantasy ceiling figures to remain modest as long as Stevenson remains available.

Impact No Patriots' pass catcher recorded more than three receptions, so in that context, Douglas, New England's de facto No. 1 receiver, didn't have an appreciably quieter afternoon than his teammates. There could be many similar quiet receiving lines for the second-year speedster sprinkled throughout the season as long as New England can effectively lean on the ground attack and its defense, but Douglas could see more opportunity in a Week 2 home matchup against the Seahawks.

Impact Henry had a quiet afternoon but certainly wasn't alone among his pass-catching teammates, as the Patriots leveraged dominant performances by Rhamondre Stevenson and their defense for a season-opening upset victory. The veteran tight end should continue to enjoy a steady role throughout the season while working with either veteran Jacoby Brissett or rookie Drake Maye, as both should value his reliability when dropping back. However, how much passing volume there will be week to week remains an open question, so Henry's outlook isn't particularly bright heading into a Week 2 home battle against the Seahawks.

Impact The veteran signal-caller played the ultimate game-manager role in a game dominated by Rhamondre Stevenson and the Patriots' defense. Brissett connected with seven different targets overall, but his longest completion went for 17 yards and he averaged just 5.0 yards per attempt overall. New head coach Jerod Mayo would likely take as many low-scoring victories that rely heavily on his ground attack and defensive unit as he can get, but Brissett has the experience to step up his contributions through the air when called upon. The Patriots will look to capitalize on a Seahawks team that will travel across the country to face them in Week 2 next Sunday, another game where Brissett may be able to fill more of a complementary role.

Impact At least for Week 1, new Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo was able to play his preferred brand of football, with game script allowing Stevenson to function in an old-school workhorse role to help grind out a low-scoring victory. Stevenson was able to rip off chunk gains throughout the afternoon, and he found paydirt for his first touchdown of the campaign on a three-yard run to open the second quarter. Antonio Gibson took only seven carries as the No. 2 running back, clearly delineating the pecking order in New England's ground attack. Stevenson will look to replicate the stellar 2024 debut when he tangles with the Seahawks at home in Week 2.
