Stantley Thomas-Oliver - Lands on NFI list The Giants placed Thomas-Oliver (undisclosed) on the active/non-football injury list Tuesday.

Impact Thomas-Oliver, who signed a reserve/future contract with New York in January, will now be sidelined for the start of training camp. The 2020 seventh-round pick will compete for a roster spot when he's healthy, but Thomas-Oliver has not appeared in a game since logging three tackles (three solo) for the Panthers back in 2022.

Aaron Robinson - Placed on PUP list The Giants placed Robinson (knee) on the active/PUP list Tuesday.

Impact Robinson will start training camp on the PUP list for the second straight season, as he is still working his way back from a fully torn MCL and partially torn ACL suffered back in October of 2022. The 26-year-old has only played in 11 games since being drafted in the third round in 2021 and could face an uphill battle to make the Giants' final roster once healthy.

Evan Neal - Lands on PUP list Neal was placed on the Giants' active/PUP list Tuesday.

Impact Neal will remain on the sideline for the start of training camp as he is still recovering from ankle surgery he underwent in January. As the Giants currently lack depth along the offensive line, once healthy the 2022 first-round pick should get another chance to start at right tackle despite struggling across his first two seasons.

Impact Mills will now be sidelined indefinitely, but he will still be eligible to practice and play in the preseason if activated off the NFI list. The 2016 seventh-round will now look to get healthy and compete for a backup role at safety.

Impact Jones said early Tuesday during an appearance on the "Simms Complete" podcast that he's had no setbacks in his recovery from last November's ACL surgery, and the Giants' decision not to place him on the PUP list essentially confirms that. This news means the QB is unlikely to have any limitations in preparing for the upcoming campaign and will be ready to go as New York's Week 1 starter, assuming he doesn't incur any new health issues prior to the beginning of the season. Jones will lead a new-look Giants offense that lost Saquon Barkley in free agency and Darren Waller to retirement in the offseason while adding new first-string RB Devin Singletary and exciting rookie Malik Nabers, who is slated to be the team's No. 1 wideout.

Impact Johnson will be eligible to come off the PUP list as soon as he's able to practice, so if his hip issue is indeed short-term he may not have to miss much of training camp. The rookie fourth-round pick has just over three weeks to recover prior to New York's preseason kickoff against the Lions on Aug. 08. When healthy, he figures to compete with Daniel Bellinger for the No. 1 tight end role.
