Impact McDonald stayed hot after his 3.0-sack breakout in Week 2. With Jermaine Johnson (Achilles) done for the season, McDonald will be counted upon to play a key role on the edge for the Jets, even if Haason Reddick's ongoing contract dispute is resolved at some point.

Greg Zuerlein - Another low-volume game Zuerlein made one of two field-goal attempts and all three PAT tries in Thursday's 24-3 win over the Patriots.

Impact Zuerlein contributed only one of the NFL-record 73 field goals made in Week 2, and he converted just one yet again Thursday. The Jets have been efficient when they get into scoring range early this season, with nine touchdowns compared to only three field-goal attempts, and Zuerlein shanked a 45-yard attempt late in the first half Thursday before bouncing back with a 28-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.

Impact Ruckert made his first two catches of the season as Aaron Rodgers completed multiple passes to eight different players. While this was Ruckert's best game of the young season, that was also the case for Tyler Conklin, who cemented his standing as the Jets' top tight end with five catches for a team-high 93 yards on six targets.

Impact Gipson was one of eight Jets to catch multiple passes in Thursday's win, as Aaron Rodgers had his best game as a Jet with 281 passing yards and two touchdowns. Impact After being limited to special teams work in his first two NFL games, Davis got the first three carries of his NFL career, as the Jets mixed him in after getting some breathing room on the scoreboard. Davis is a distant third on the team's running back depth chart heading into Week 4 against the Broncos, behind Breece Hall and Braelon Allen, the latter of whom was selected one round before Davis in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Braelon Allen - Leading rusher in Thursday's win Allen rushed 11 times for 55 yards and caught all three of his targets for 13 yards in Thursday's 24-3 win over the Patriots.

Impact Allen finished with one more rushing yard than Breece Hall on five fewer carries, though Hall scored a one-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter and had 16 more receiving yards on two more targets than Allen. Hall's still the top running back for the Jets, but Allen has become a prominent part of the game plan heading into a Week 4 home game against the Broncos, as the rookie fourth-round pick has 141 scrimmage yards and two TDs through three games while churning out 5.1 yards per carry.

Allen Lazard - Another TD in win Lazard secured all three targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 24-3 win over the Patriots on Thursday night.

Impact Lazard and Aaron Rodgers had recreated some of their old Packers magic in Week 1 against the 49ers, but the former had been held to just 11 receiving yards in Week 2. However, the chemistry was reignited Thursday night, with Lazard finishing with the second-highest receiving yardage total on the night for New York and bringing in a 10-yard scoring grab with 4:21 remaining in the first quarter. The seventh-year wideout had 11- and 27-yard catches on his other two receptions, so even with the downfield presence of Mike Williams on the field, it appears there's room for Lazard to thrive with his old Green Bay battery mate.

Tyler Conklin - Breakout effort in Week 3 win Conklin brought in five of six targets for 93 yards in the Jets' 24-3 win over the Patriots on Thursday night.

Impact Conklin was the surprise co-leader in receptions on the night for the Jets while also setting the pace in receiving yards by a very wide margin. Conklin recorded multiple chunk gains, including his game-long 22-yard grab in the second quarter that got the ball down to the Patriots' six-yard line. There had been preseason talk of Conklin being a potential beneficiary of Rodgers being under center, but Thursday night was the first time that came to fruition after the veteran tight end generated just a 2-16 line through the first two games.
