While that timeline theoretically gives Cephus a chance to make it back for Week 18 in early January, the 0-5 Lions aren't expected to be in playoff contention and most likely won't be looking to activate the second-year wideout. Through five games, Cephus had been one of the better producers in a weak Detroit pass-catching group, notching 15 receptions for 204 yards and two touchdowns on 22 targets.
