Impact Coming off a two-interception game and back-to-back contests with a sub-56.0 percent completion rate, Purdy enjoyed a resurgent night that featured his second three-touchdown tally of the season. The third-year signal-caller's scoring tosses came in the second, third and fourth quarters, with Purdy connecting with Deebo Samuel (76 yards) and George Kittle (10, nine yards). Purdy recorded completions to seven different pass catchers overall, and he'll likely need to turn in an even higher-caliber performance when he and the 49ers tangle with the Chiefs at home in a Week 7 Super Bowl rematch on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Jordan Mason - Sidelined again Mason was only able to return for one play in the second half before being sidelined again with a left shoulder injury,Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Impact Mason was sidelined for a significant portion of the second quarter while having his shoulder evaluated. He returned for one carry to begin the second half but has since been sidelined for two 49ers' possessions. Mason doesn't have an official injury designation and has his helmet on while standing on the sideline, so it is possible he could return to the game again.

Malik Mustapha - Ruled out Mustapha (ankle) will not return to Thursday's game against the Seahawks, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Impact The safety made two tackles, including one for a loss, and intercepted a pass before exiting. San Francisco's starting safeties, George Odum and Ji'Ayir Brown, remain healthy, and Jaylen Mahoney is the only other reserve safety available.

Impact The safety recorded two tackles, including one for a loss, and an interception before exiting. Mustapha played on more than 80 percent of the defensive snaps in each of the 49ers' previous two games. San Francisco's two starting safeties, George Odum and Ji'Ayir Brown, are still healthy.

Impact Pearsall has been focusing on rehab since suffering a gunshot wound during an attempted robbery on Aug. 31, residing on the reserve/non-football injury in the meantime. The 49ers may have precipitated his return if the receiving corps was dealing with anything other than nicks and bruises, but now that he's nearly six weeks removed from the event, the team will open his practice window in the near future.

Joshua Dobbs - Remains as emergency QB Dobbs (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's contest against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Dobbs will operate as the team's emergency quarterback for the sixth consecutive week to open the 2024 season. The 29-year-old will only enter the game if both Brock Purdy and Brandon Allen suffer injuries versus Seattle.

The cornerback will now be forced to sit out Week 6 and as a result, Rock Ya-Sin and Darrell Luter will likely see an increase in workload in San Francisco's secondary. Impact Ward saw his typical workload in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, so it's not clear when he suffered the injury, although he did deal with knee issues earlier in the season. After logging a DNP on Monday, the veteran corner was able to log back-to-back limited practice sessions, likely putting him on the right side of questionable for TNF. However, clarity likely won't come until San Francisco releases its inactive list 90 minutes before kickoff.
