Impact Irving opened the game as the No. 1 back with Rachaad White (foot) inactive, and although he was ultimately outshined by a stellar performance from backfield mate Sean Tucker, the rookie still turned in a productive performance. Irving's carry and yardage totals were a career high, and he recorded his second touchdown on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter. Irving will be in line to share backfield duties with either Tucker or White again in a Week 7 home matchup against the Ravens on Monday night, Oct. 21.

Season- best effort Sunday Godwin brought in 11 of 13 targets for 125 yards and two touchdowns in the Buccaneers' 51-27 win over the Saints on Sunday.

Impact Godwin led the Buccaneers across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets with totals that also all qualified as season highs. The veteran receiver has been an ideal fit in offensive coordinator Liam Coen's system thus far, recording no fewer than five catches in any game and already recording five touchdowns through six games after only combining for that many over the prior pair of campaigns. Following his first multi-score game of the season, Godwin will likely play another sizable role in a Week 7 interconference home showdown against the Ravens on Monday night, Oct. 21.

The veteran signal-caller also matched his season high in touchdown passes, connecting with Chris Godwin (four, 55 yards), Sean Tucker (36 yards) and Cade Otton (eight yards) for his quartet of scoring tosses. Mayfield did get shaken up at the end of a late third-quarter drive, but because the Buccaneers punted on the next play, he never missed a play and led a touchdown drive on the next possession. Mayfield's three interceptions were his most in a game during his season-plus Tampa Bay tenure, but he'll still head into a tough Week 7 home matchup against the Ravens on Monday night, Oct. 21 with plenty of momentum.

Impact Bucky Irving, who's already been working in close to an even timeshare with White at times, will draw the start, but he's yet to log more than 10 carries in a game during his nascent NFL career. Therefore, Tucker, who normally slots in as the No. 3 back on the depth chart, should be in line for his biggest workload of the season as Irving's backup, after only seeing two carries and one target over his first five games. Tucker has worked primarily as a kickoff returner thus far this season and had just 17 touches across 11 regular-season games as a rookie in 2023, but he was a two-time 1,000-yard rusher during his college days at Syracuse.

Impact McMillan was absent Weeks 4 and 5 due to a hamstring injury that he sustained in practice prior to the first of those contests. McMillan thus will be aiming to build upon the 3-59-1 line on six targets that he accrued in the first three outings of his career.
