Breshad Perriman - Comes off COVID-19 list Tampa Bay reinstated Perriman (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports. Impact Perriman was placed on the list Dec. 18, with the timing of his positive test of the virus resulting in him missing both of the past two games while he recuperated. Now healthy again, Perriman could find himself in a more prominent role in a Buccaneers receiver room that looks much different from when he last played Week 14 against the Bills. Since then, Antonio Brown has returned from an extended absence due to an ankle injury and a suspension, while Chris Godwin (knee) is shut down for the season and Mike Evans (hamstring) is week-to-week. Evans will have a chance at returning Sunday against the Jets, but even if he and Brown are able to handle full workloads, Perriman could push Tyler Johnson and Cyril Grayson for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart. Grayson essentially filled Perriman's role as Tampa Bay's designated downfield threat in the Week 16 win over the Panthers, recording 81 yards on three receptions while playing 82 percent of the snaps on offense. He then reverted to the practice squad following the game.
