Impact Hudson was just activated from IR prior to Week 11 after missing six games with an ankle issue, but there has been no word yet as to whether this is an aggravation of the same injury. Anthony Firkser should see more playing time as a result.

Impact Swaim returned as a full participant in practice Friday, setting the stage for him to gain clearance in Week 12. The tight end hasn't typically been a major part of the Tennessee game plan this season, though Swaim has hauled in exactly four receptions in each of the past three weeks with the receiving corps badly shorthanded. He could be in to see a few more targets than usual this week with A.J. Brown (chest), Julio Jones (hamstring) and Marcus Johnson (hamstring) all on currently residing on injured reserve.

D'Onta Foreman - Likely to lead ground attack Foreman is expected to receive the "bulk of the carries" for the Titans in Sunday's game against the Patriots, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact Following the Titans' decision to waive Adrian Peterson earlier this week, Foreman looks poised to serve as the No. 1 option on the ground for Tennessee, at least until Derrick Henry (foot) potentially returns from injured reserve in the final weeks of the regular season. With Peterson out of the mix and Jeremy McNichols (concussion) sidelined for the second week in a row, Dontrell Hilliard is the only competition Foreman will face for backfield reps Sunday, but the 5-foot-11, 202-pound Hilliard is seemingly being earmarked for a change-of-pace and passing-down role rather than challenging for a lead role as a runner. Even though Foreman is in line to receive the start, his snap count and usage will ultimately hinge on the game script. If the Titans fall behind early against New England and are forced into catchup mode -- like they were in last week's loss to the Texans -- Foreman could struggle to get more than 10 carries Sunday.

Dontrell Hilliard - Pass-catching role awaits Hilliard is expected to serve as Tennessee's No. 2 back behind starter D'Onta Foreman in Sunday's game against the Patriots, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Though Foreman is expected to see the larger share of carries among the two backs, Hilliard should be the Titans' preferred option on passing downs. With his main competition for the role, Jeremy McNichols (concussion), set to miss a second straight game, Hilliard could end up handling a larger snap share than Foreman if the Titans fall behind early and are forced into catchup mode. That scenario played out in last week's 22-13 loss to the Texans, and Hilliard was able to catch in with 35 yards on seven carries to go with eight receptions for 47 yards on 10 targets.
