Geoff Swaim - Questionable after full practice Swaim (concussion) was a full practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in New England, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Swaim was a full participant Wednesday and Friday, sandwiched around non-participation Thursday. That's unusual, but not necessarily bad, and he'll now need clearance from a team physician and independent neurological consultant in order to play this Sunday. The Titans can use all the help they can get with their WR group devastated by injuries, and Swaim should see plenty of snaps and at least a few targets if he avoids the inactive list.

Impact Meanwhile, fellow running back Jeremy McNichols (concussion) didn't practice at all this week and will miss a second consecutive contest, leaving Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard to man Tennessee's backfield Sunday. In three appearances for the team, Foreman has hovered between 18 and 36 percent of offensive snaps, but that number may increase with just two RBs available to the offense. Overall, he's averaged 3.7 yards on his 23 carries and gathered in all three targets for 63 yards. When the Titans went pass-heavy this past Sunday against the Texans due to facing a large deficit, Hilliard was the back to prosper, tallying seven carries for 35 yards and eight catches (on 10 targets) for 47 yards on a 63 percent snap share.

Impact McNichols still hasn't returned to practice and now will miss a second straight game. Last week, Dontrell Hilliard stepped in as the passing-down back and caught eight of 10 targets for 47 yards in a 22-13 loss to the Texans, adding seven rushes for 35 yards while playing 63 percent of snaps on offense. That's a bigger workload than McNichols has seen all year, and while a repeat isn't likely, Hilliard does have less competition for playing time with both McNichols and Adrian Peterson (released) out of the lineup. It appears the injury-ravaged Tennessee offense will have D'Onta Foreman as the lead runner and Hilliard as the substitute and passing-down back this Sunday against a red-hot Patriots defense, though the Titans also have RB Rodney Smith as a backfield option from the practice squad.
