Impact McLaurin may still need to pass the final step of the protocol -- gaining clearance from an independent neurologist -- before Washington confirms he'll be ready to play Tuesday against the Eagles, after the game was pushed back from Sunday due to the Football Team's COVID-19 outbreak. The consecutive full practices are a promising sign McLaurin will be good to go for the Week 15 contest, but his availability won't be known until Washington releases its final injury report later Sunday. If McLaurin suits up, he may be drawing targets from backup quarterback Kyle Allen (illness), who is likelier bet than normal starter Taylor Heinicke (illness) to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list before Tuesday. If neither Heinicke nor Allen is cleared, however, Washington would turn to practice-squad member Kyle Shurmur or the newly signed Garrett Gilbert to make a spot start at quarterback.
