Washington-Eagles moved to Tuesday McLaurin (concussion) and Washington will no longer play the Eagles on Sunday, after the NFL officially rescheduled the matchup between the two teams for Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET. Impact Due to ongoing COVID-19-related issues within Washington's organization, the NFL is hopeful that by delaying the game two days, the Football Team will restore enough players from the reserve/COVID-19 list to alleviate depth concerns on the roster. Assuming the game is held Tuesday as expected, McLaurin should be in good shape to play after he made notable progress in his recovery from the concussion by practicing in a limited capacity Thursday and Friday. Per Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post, head coach Ron Rivera said Friday that he's very optimistic McLaurin will exit the five-step concussion protocol before Tuesday's game, with the wideout's availability ultimately hinging on him getting clearance from an independent neurologist. Even if McLaurin suits up Tuesday, he may have to work with an unfamiliar quarterback, as the top two options on the depth chart -- starter Taylor Heinicke and top backup Kyle Allen -- tested positive for COVID-19 over the past few days, leaving the availability of both signal-callers in flux for Week 15.
